Direct Access?

Massachusetts is one of 20 states that grant patients complete, unrestricted access to physical therapy. A physician referral is not required for a physical therapist to treat a patient. Therefore, if you're experiencing acute or chronic pain, you don't have to wait to see a physical therapist.
